FISHING A TROUT MUD

We’re FISHING A TROUT MUD in this one!
Have you ever fished a trout mud or a mullet mud?
It’s when a MASSIVE school of trout and/or mullet come through a shallow area (like a flat) and create so much movement that the bottom stirs up a huge muddy zone.
Some of these trout muds are larger than a football field and are loaded with fish.
Listen in as we share how to fish a trout mud (and how not to fish a trout mud).

Do those mud slicks show up in other bodies of water as well?
Don’t know what happened but the podcast just stopped but anyway I guess you could say I have seen a mud but it wasn’t trout that was making it they were reds and it was a pretty big area maybe the size of a football field all I know is I have seen it happen on numerous occasions and it’s always in the same general area an area I fish frequently in the summer and winter located along some grassy oyster scattered shoreline and if you go through the mudfield you can see the reds scatter I have tried alot of different lures with no takers so I usually move only after a little while fishing them but I have never experienced a trout mud I know in my area of dlorida jacksomville to be specific because the water is mostly murky in the warmer months its a little harder to spot a mud versus where you guys fish in central or south fl anyways interesting topic thanks for that and all you do😉👍
