Regardless of where I am fishing, it is convenient to have everything I need in one tackle bag ready for action.
Less is more as long as you have the right gear.
Hard-Body Lures
The hard-body lures included in this bundle are best used in the early hours of the morning or during the sunset.
Let’s kick things off with the Moonwalker Topwater Lure!
This is an excellent walk-the-dog style topwater lure that casts a mile and comes equipped with strong single inline hooks.
These hooks won’t straighten out and all you need to do is take it out of the package and you’re ready to fish.
When the bite slows down a bit, it’s time to break out the Skinny Lipper!
This lure is the perfect blend between a topwater lure and a subsurface jerk bait.
The small lip at the bottom allows the lure to dive down a few inches with each twitch of the rod.
It then floats back up to the top and drives fish absolutely crazy.
The Skinny Lipper is great for those times when the fish are hesitant to strike topwater but are still willing to eat.
Small Profile Soft Plastic Lures & Hooks
Once the sun rises, soft plastic lures are the ideal choice.
The best approach is to keep things simple and effective.
To do this, we’ve included both the small and large sizes for shrimp lures and paddletail swimbaits.
In the small profile, you get a pack of 3.5-inch Slam Shady 2.0 Paddletails.
This lure alone has accounted for over 100 species caught amongst Insider Members in our club.
For the shrimp profile, you get a pack of Power Prawn USA Junior lures.
The glide on these lures is unmatched and mimics the natural movements of real shrimp.
Both packs of lures include 7 of each lure.
For rigging, you also get two sizes: weedless weighted hooks for the shallows and weedless football jigheads for deeper zones.
During the summer, especially when temperatures are high, these fish will seek deeper water where temperatures are cooler.
They will hold tight to structure and if you aren’t fishing weedless, you may run into headaches and snags.
These jigheads pair with both the paddletails and shrimp and will prevent any hang-ups.
Large Profile Soft Plastic Lures & Hooks
The same applies with the large soft plastic lures as well: you get a pack of paddletail lures and shrimp lures.
The paddletails included are the new Slam Shady Mulligan swimbaits.
Mulligan lures are unique in that they have dimples all around like a golf ball designed to add distance to your casts.
The dimples also reflect sunlight and appear as scales when swimming in the water.
The shrimp lures included are the Power Prawn USA Original.
They are a little over 4 inches and have proven to catch BIG fish in shallow water.
As far as rigging hooks go, the same applies here as with the smaller lures.
You get weighted rigging hooks for the shallows of less than 3 feet.
As well as weedless football jigheads for deeper zones.
Summertime Lure Bundle
When it comes to lure selection, we have an online mini-course that will detail when and where these lures perform best.
That will go into the conditions, time of day, water depth, etc. so you know which lures and hooks to use and when.
The Summertime Lure Bundle is 10% off across the board!!
We rarely discount these products especially some of our newer items so this is your chance to get them at a lower cost.
And if you’re an Insider Member, you’re 20% off that is included with the club is tacked on top of the existing 10% off for additional savings.
Once you place your order, the mini-course with all the on-the-water information will be sent to your inbox!

enjoyed this information.
I am never sure about what lure to use for our bays ,which are saltwater. Saltwater fishing is kinda new to me. Freshwater fishing I was good at. Now that I have a boat now for saltwater fishing.
This assembly of lures and the lessons showing when to use each one will certainly help fix the issue about not knowing which lures to use.
Another helpful source for determining which lures to use is in the Equipment Cheat Sheet post linked here (bottom section has lure tips): https://www.saltstrong.com/fishing-tip/fishing-equipment-cheat-sheet/
As usual a very good and informative video and it’s not going to be much longer and I’m gonna be out there putting these baits and lures to use and finding out for myself…. Good job Luke
Thanks for making time to post the nice comment Thomas!
And I just made a restocking order of those items this morning!
There’s no such thing as having too many lures:)
Yes there is. I am guilty and need to thin my collection out!
