➡ How To Spool Line On Spinning Reels (Backing + Braid)

When you’re out casting lures on a windy day, the wind can sometimes push the line right off your spool.

If the angle of your casts is a perfect 90 degrees, the line will easily slide off the spool.

But, if you tilt the spool at an angle while you cast, the line will catch itself and stay on the spool.

Keep the rod tip pointed up slightly after you make your casts.

Then, right before your lure hits the water, CLOSE THE BAIL on your reel!

By then, the cast is complete and you can stop the line from peeling off the spool.

These are some simple adjustments you can make to prevent tangles, twists, and knots when casting.
