Topwater Fishing A Small Beach From Boat (LIVE)

We’re out topwater fishing a small beach from a boat!!

It is tough to beat early morning topwater action in the heat of summer.

We figured we’d stop and throw some casts from the boat along a shoreline that had been holding some fish recently.

This is an easy way to catch a couple of quick fish if you want to stop along your route.

Can’t beat that early morning topwater bite!!

It’s great to know where the fish are, but it’s even more of a skill to know when to stop and move to go fish another spot.

You should always have a few spots in mind just in case your original plan doesn’t yield any fish!

Some of the same lures can work offshore too… here’s a recent trip showing the Power Prawn USA catching some nice red grouper and mangrove snapper offshore in case you haven’t yet seen it: https://www.saltstrong.com/articles/best-lure-for-reef-fishing/

So excited to hear about the Cashion rod update. I live only about 35min from Cashion, in Sanford and have been eyeing them for a while but I’ll wait on the Fish strong store to get them so I can add a nice Diawa to the cart and complete the combo!

How cool that you live close to Cashion’s headquarters! They sure make some great rods there.
