Man that bridge must of been really deep considering your depth guide says that one is made to go 50 to 90 ft with an original power prawn! Never fished that deep before except when my father used to troll for Chinook salmon and brown trout and steelhead on lake mich in his 25 ft tunnel drive penyan boat with downriggers when i was a kid in the 70s but never inshore saltwater but I remember fishing our small lake that ran into Ole lake mich via a channel that everyone that fished it had to go through my father tried to teach me how to use live bait mostly night crawlers and crayfish for smallmouth bass and some live shiners for northern pike through the ice on tip ups ( a reel that had thick braided line with a treble hook on a steel leader and the reel was attached to a wooden stock that had 2 other sticks that were crossed together that the reel was submerged through the ice this had a metal flag that when a fish took the bait the reel would turn tripping the metal flag to pop up letting you know a fish was on) anyways besides ice fishing I never caught on how to really successfully use live bait but after watching fishing shows on TV and watching tournament bass anglers use crankbaits and spinnerbaits and plastic jigs and worms I started practicing myself and also got to know a few of the bass anglers that fished our lake and started fishing with lures and caught on fast to me using bait is like deer hunting you find a rub and a trail the deer frequently use and find a spot to sit down close by and you wait for the deer to show up like using bait you find a spot you think the fish will be at and you cast out and again like deer hunting you wait well all I can say is BORING!!! Because if that’s how alot of people believe fishing is that never really fished before its no wonder it doesn’t interest alot of people including me but the way I fish with lures I’m working it like a bass angler fishing points and grasslines with oyster mounds or scattered oysters or creekmouths or docks that’s how I FIND the fish and don’t expect to get lucky that some will come my way if I was using bait anyways been using lures for at least 50 years now and in the inshore saltwater for 21 of those 50 years plus no nasty boat mess to clean up or smell or having to wait inline at the bait and tackle shop to buy any considering I really suck with a cast net I have no patience with bait of any kind but I do have plenty of lures to mimic any live bait that is prevelant that the predatory gamefish are feeding on no matter what time of year plus you know its definatly a confident thing but like I always say nothing is gaurenteed because some people are just not ment to fish they just don’t have the passion or drive and get discouraged to easily well to me those people are what football and other sports are made for thanks for the video and all you do😀👍
