The water was dirty and murky to begin the trip so I started out throwing the Gold Digger Paddletail underneath a popping cork.
My hope was that the water would clean up a bit on the incoming tide and there’d be opportunities to catch fish on some nearby flats.
Points are of interest on incoming tides because all the water gets pushed around points which means so will the bait.
The predatory fish know this and will set up around and near points to wait for an easy meal.
Later on, I switched over to the Power Prawn USA Junior in the Gold Digger color underneath a popping cork.
There were a lot of shrimp in the area and a popping cork allows your offering to stand out from the rest.
I found myself in the middle of a feeding frenzy with trout, bluefish, and even some sharks feeding on tons of white shrimp.
The Power Prawn USA in its original size absolutely crushed it!
Conclusion
The game plan worked out well from beginning to end!
After an incoming tide, you can find fish feeding on jumping white shrimp pretty much all the way to the top of the tide.
The Gold Digger lure color underneath the popping cork ended up being what the fish wanted most on this trip!!

Where can I find blogs in my area Oak Island, N.C.? Seems all posts are un Florida
I have found the gulp 4 inch paddletail in morning glory ( black with red flakes and chartruese tail) works great in the mostly murky water here in the Jax st Augustine area where I fish and live I use alot of scent as well and the gulp has it all don’t get me wrong the gold digger is good but to me it lacks in scent wich redfish are keen on more so then trout don’t know about flounder but anyway usually if the water is murky whether incoming or outgoing I throw something with chartruese and or gold like the morning glory on a safety pin style spinnerbait with a big gold or copper Colorado blade slow rolled by grasslines with scattered oysters or under docks or by oyster mounds is sure to get you bit if there is either a red or flounder around all i can say is it works for me for others can’t speak for them thanks for the info and all you do😉👍
Definitely great tips Steven!! Thanks
