ABOUT Kristan Sheffield
My heart has always been out on the water. I was born and raised in Winter Haven, FL but spent my summers growing up on Anna Maria Island. As I got older, we started venturing down to the Florida Keys where I fell in love with offshore fishing!
I’ve spent numerous summers out on the boat with my Dad offshore, targeting mostly Dolphin and Billfish. One of my most exciting trips was when we went out of Ft. Pierce and I landed my first Wahoo and Sailfish, all in the same day I might add!
Within the past few years, I’ve decided to venture out and start inshore fishing with my husband. It’s been so much fun learning and sharing that experience with him and our two kids. I have yet to catch a Redfish but I’m certain that I can check that off my list soon.
I’ve served children and families for eleven years in the education world and I’m very excited to now be a part of the Salt Strong Family!
